The Osprey Lumina 45L features a fully adjustable, padded, airflow style women's harness system able to carry loads perfect for weekend hikes, New Zealand hut hiking, the Camino trail and much more. The Levity also doesn't skimp on usable features. Most sub 1kg packs are fully streamlined, but the Osprey Lumina still has front and side stash pockets, full lid with zipper pocket, lash points for attaching more gear and a great compression system. 

We would say that the Osprey Lumina 45 is the perfect hiking pack for those die-hard gram counters, willing to sacrifice anything for a lighter hiking system; and it is. But it's also just so comfortable and functional that any average hiker would reap the benefits of a lighter pack without compromising. 

Fabric

A lot of the lightweight success of the Osprey Lumina can be put down to the fabric. The NanoFly® fabric integrates ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) ripstop and Cordura Nylon, creating an incredibly light fabric with remarkable abrasion resistance.
